Emirates has opened a new VIP Lounge at Real Madrid’s Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

Unveiled less than four months after signing a five-year shirt sponsorship with the Spanish side, the new lounge was officially opened ahead of the home match against local rivals, Atletico Madrid.

Covering an area of 375m², the new lounge can host more than 200 people, and will cater to the club’s VIPs on match days. The interior design is modelled after the cabin of a Boeing 777 – the same aircraft currently serving the route between Madrid and Dubai.  It is located just below the VIP boxes.

“The Emirates VIP lounge is yet another milestone in the partnership between Emirates and Real Madrid, and highlights the immense value we see in our relationship with the Club and with Spain. The unique space will be instrumental in delivering unique experiences to our guests during matches, and will be a powerful platform for on-going engagement with our customers,” said Fernando Suárez De Góngora, Emirates’ manager for Spain & Portugal.

Expected to host over 6,000 guests every season, the lounge features large plasma screens and F&B services.

Emirates currently offers 21 weekly flights to Spain, including double daily services to Madrid.
