Emirates opens Rome lounge

Emirates recently opened their 35th lounge at Leonardo da Vinci Airport in Rome. The lounge is a Euro 2.53 million investment from the airline to enhance comfort of the premium customers. This is for first class and business class customers, as well as Platinum and Gold members of Skywards.
The lounge was inaugurated by Mohammed Mattar, Emirates’ divisional senior vice president airport services, Fabio Maria Lazzerini – general manager di Emirates Italia and Lorenzo Lo Presti, ADR – Aeroporti di Roma chief executive officer.
Emirates customers to and from Rome grew by over 110% in 2013 from 2009 figures. The lounge is located at Terminal 3 in the airside transit area. The seating capacity is for 156 customers including an indoor area.
