Emirates recently announced its intent to deploy an A380 on the Vienna route.
The airline will operate two scheduled daily flights into Vienna International Airport with the iconic A380 aircraft. Emirates as per statistics has carried almost three million passengers on the Dubai-Vienna route since it was launched on 1 May 2004.
“Over the years, we have gradually seen an increase in demand for our services in Austria thanks to strong response,” said Thierry Antinori, Emirates‘ executive vice president and chief commercial officer.
The airline will fly its three-class A380 with 519 seats – 14 in first class, 76 in business class and 429 in economy – on one of its daily services to Vienna (EK127/EK128) and retain its second daily Boeing 777-300ER service (EK125/EK126) with a seating capacity of 360.
