Emirates to fly A380 to Singapore
Emirates will launch Airbus A380 services to Singapore next month.
The 517-seat double-decker aircraft will be deployed on the Dubai-Singapore route from 8-21 September 2012, replacing the regular 354-seat Boeing 777-300ER to cater for expected high passenger demand.
“Emirates has seen growing passenger demand for flights on the Singapore-Dubai route over the last few years,” said Nick Rees, Emirates’ Manager for Singapore & Brunei. “Just last year, we increased the frequency of flights on the Singapore-Dubai with seven additional weekly flights, bringing the total number of flights out of Singapore to 28 – the most number of direct Singapore-Dubai flights offered by any airline.
The Emirates A380 is operated on the Singapore route will feature 517 seats in a three-class configuration – 14 in first class, 76 in business class and 427 in economy.
