Emirates announced its decision to showcase its two-class configured A380 at the fourth edition of the Bahrain International Airshow (BIA).
This is the first time that the two-class A380 comes to the Kingdom. The aircraft on display will allow both trade visitors and general public to familiarise themselves with the new double-decker.
Khalid Al Haddad, vice president commercial operations, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain for Emirates, said: “The A380 on display demonstrates our commitment to the Kingdom of Bahrain and it showcases Emirates as a global airline supporting the growth of aviation in the region.”
The airline’s two class configured A380 features 58 seats in business class and 557 seats in economy class, as well as Emirates’ OnBoard Lounge. Emirates has been flying to Bahrain since 2000 and serves the Kingdom with four daily flights.
