Emirates upgrades aircraft on Lyon route

Lyon, Emirates will soon upgrade its aircraft on the Lyon route.
The current operating aircraft A340-500 will be replaced with a Boeing 777-200LR, effective from 1 February 2014. The upgraded aircraft will offer a total of 266 seats in each direction with eight suites in First Class, 42 in Business Class, and 216 passengers in Economy Class.
Since its launch in December last year, Emirates has carried over 56,000 passengers between Dubai and Lyon, boosting international tourism in Lyon from destinations in the Middle and Far East as well as Australia.
