Etihad hosts its 2015 global conference

More than 650 Etihad Airways staff gathered at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi.

The gathering witnessed the kick off of its 2015 Worldwide Staff Conference. The two-day conference was based on the theme of ‘partnership in action’. The conference was inaugurated by HE Mohamed Mubarak Fadhel Al Mazrouei, Etihad Airways’ chairman. HE Hamad Al Shamsi, Etihad Airways vice chairman, and HE Ahmed Al Mehairi, member of the Etihad Airways board were also in attendance.

Representatives from the airline’s partners from around the world also attended the conference which discussed ways to work more closely in reducing costs, improving revenues and enhancing customer experiences.

Building on its organic growth, Etihad Airways expanded its codeshare and equity partnerships in 2014. These partnerships delivered over 3.5 million passengers onto Etihad Airways flights, an increase of 40% over the 2.5 m passengers in 2013.
