Etihad Airways has launched chauffeur services for its economy passengers arriving or departing from Heathrow.
The service can be purchased as an add-on and includes a meet at arrivals hall; help with luggage and kerb-side drop-off. The service is free for its first and business class customers.
“This is the first time we are extending our renowned Chauffeur service to Coral Economy class and, at competitive and affordable rates, we fully expect that our guests will enjoy this premium service,” said Peter Baumgartner, chief commercial officer at Etihad. “We designed this innovative new service in response to customer research highlighting that our guests would be keen on such an offering.”
Meanwhile the airline has signed a three-year promotional deal with the Sydney Opera House. The multi-million pounds agreement will promote tourism in Sydney and New South Wales internationally and comes as the airline looks to boost its share of air traffic to Australia.
