Etihad Airways will begin its recruitment drive for cabin crew in Mumbai from 10 May.
The airline is looking for cabin crew, food and beverage managers and qualified in-flight chefs from its Indian expansion. “In Mumbai, we will be inviting up to 600 of the best candidates who meet our stringent criteria to attend the recruitment days,” Aubrey Tiedt, vice president of guests services at Etihad Airways was quoted as saying by the Economic Times. Candidates will be invited to recruitment days on 11 May and 13 May in Mumbai.
The hired cabin crew will be based in Abu Dhabi and will be provided medical insurance, housing support and access to leisure, sports and entertainment activities.
More than 2,145 Indian nationals work for the airline of which 1,549 are core staff, 548 cabin crew and 48 are pilots.
