European Waterways is offering 10% off as an incentive for booking early on many of its spring and summer 2018 luxury hotel barge holidays, cruising the inland waterways of Europe.
The offer, only available on bookings made before September 15, 2017, applies to:
- Whole-boat charter bookings for several barges cruising in Burgundy, the Canal du Midi, Gascony, and the Upper Loire in France. Additionally, hotel barge La Bella Vita in Italy; and the Scottish Highlander on the Caledonian Canal and lochs of Scotland.
- The offer is also applicable on both cabin and whole-barge charters for most departures on the Panache in Holland during the Spring ‘tulip’ season.
Derek Banks, managing director for European Waterways, said: “It’s not just ‘Paris in the Spring’ but the whole of Europe that comes alive with the arrival of warmer weather. Whether it’s the dazzling tulip fields of Holland, or the vibrant landscape of world-class vineyards in Burgundy, visitors enjoy great sightseeing opportunities that are perfectly ‘kissed’ by a warm Spring sun.”
With the 10% off special, typical savings include:
- The 12-passenger Panache on its March and April 2018 departures. With prices starting at £3,230, guests save £360 per person off the regular £3,590 price.
- Whole-boat charter prices on the Panache start at £35,100, a saving of £3,900 off the £39,000 price.
- Cruise fares are all-inclusive, featuring daily excursions, including wine tastings and sightseeing and all meals prepared by an onboard master chef, using fresh, local ingredients.
Some cruises also feature onboard entertainment by local performers, as well as demonstrations by local craftsmen.
“In addition to the Spring offers, we have discounts on some of our Summer 2018 cruises during the school holidays, perfect for multi-generational family get-togethers, or perhaps to celebrate a special occasion,” said Banks. “Booking early can also help our clients select the perfect hotel barge at the perfect time, in their preferred region.”
10% commission applies to travel agent bookings.
