…as early birthday celebrations set new record
Celebrations for Eurostar’s 20th anniversary started yesterday by breaking a Guinness World Record.
The rail operator now holds the title for the largest champagne tasting event where 515 passengers took part. Raymond Blanc hosted the event on one of Eurostar’s services yesterday morning where passengers in all classes were served three types of champagne guided by the sommelier from Belmond Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, Arnaud Goubet.
Passengers were also served Opera cake with the bubbles.
