Taiwan’s EVA Air has unveiled plans to launch direct flights between Taipei and Istanbul.
Commencing on 5 March 2016, the airline will operate four weekly flights on the route.
Services will depart Taipei’s Taoyuan International Airport every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 0030 and arrive at Istanbul’s Ataturk International Airport at 0720. The return services then leave the Turkish city at 1230 and arrive back in Taipei at 0500 the next morning.
EVA will serve the Istanbul route using its Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, which offers more than 300 seats in three cabin classes.
Istanbul will become the fifth European destination in EVA’s network, following London, Paris, Amsterdam and Vienna.
