Kim Winser, the former chairman of Agent Provocateur and chief executive at Pringle, has been announced as the guest speaker at the AWTE’s 60th anniversary event in July.
Winser was also once director of womenswear at Marks & Spencer’s and has an OBE for services to the fashion industry. She most recently launched Winser London fronted by Yasmin Le Bon.
“I am honoured to have been asked to speak at this landmark occasion for an organisation that has offered support and professional development for women travel executives for an incredible six decades. We have come a long way since 1954, a time when women were facing an uphill struggle in the boardroom and organisations such as the AWTE have played a significant role in nurturing the progression of women in the workplace,” said Winser.
Debbee Dale, vice chair of the AWTE added: “It is a great privilege to announce Kim as the guest speaker at the AWTE’s 60th anniversary celebration for women in business. Kim’s career achievements will undoubtedly provide inspiration to our members and we look forward to receiving an insight on her professional experiences within the highly competitive fashion industry.”
The event will take place at Marriott Grosvenor Square on 14 July.
