Exotissimo enters China
Exotissimo Travel is now offering tours in China.
The Bangkok-based destination management company has opened a new office in Beijing and has become a fully licensed inbound operator. The Chinese entry means Exo now operates 19 offices in eight countries across Asia, employing 600 full-time staff.
“We are very excited by the prospect of working in China. The possibilities here for unique travel opportunities are seemingly endless. We will be providing travelers with not only the very best service on the ground, but also continually pushing the boundaries of travel in Asia by creating new, innovative and exciting ways to experience the country,” said Exo’s Chief Operating Officer, Hamish Keith.
Exo China’s range of itineraries won’t be revealed until 28 September 2012, but the company said they would be separated into three categories: Classical China, featuring the arts, architecture, cuisine; SW China and Minorities, encompassing markets, villages and landscapes; and Great Landscape tours, featuring deserts, mountains and the Tibetan Plateau.
Exo China will be led by Managing Director Olivier Marchesin, the former General Manager of Exo Cambodia. He will be supported by a team of 10 staff.
