Central and Eastern European travel markets can now access the full suite of Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN) thanks to its newest agreement with Polish travel tech solutions provider ANIXE. The deal makes EAN’s API, with more than 350,000 hotels worldwide, accessible to ANIXE and its partners in these regions.
Alfonso Paredes, EAN vice president for sales in EMEA and LATAM shared, “At EAN, we are constantly evolving our product offering in line with our partner’s feedback and the needs of the global travel market. Alongside continuous product innovation, we source and invest in technology partners that unlock new opportunities to support the travel industry.”
ANIXE’s offline data exporting and distribution capabilities, under its Resfinity booking engine suite, makes EAN’s hotel availability and rate data compatible with the current information management platforms used by travel providers in Central and Eastern Europe.
Piotr Żołnierek, ANIXE CEO and co-founder said about the partnership, “We are excited to be able to tap into EAN’s last minute booking capabilities, which will be particularly valuable to our airline partners whose travellers prefer choice and flexibility when it comes to booking their accommodation. A key factor in our decision to work with them was the ability to offer our partners access to its package rates and vitally, more available hotel rooms in more countries across the globe.”
Sharing global hotel accommodations, rates and availability is also beneficial to EAN.
“ANIXE’s technology has allowed us to reach more travel partners in the tour operator, airline and flight ticket retailer sectors, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe, where there is specific demand for EAN’s extensive accommodation portfolio and competitive rates and availability” – Alfonso Paredes, Expedia Affiliate Network
ANIXE offers ingenious bespoke travel tech solutions such as custom development, integration, software and hardware maintenance, technical support, and consultancy. In 2016, the firm won the Travel Weekly Magellan Awards for Booking Interface and the CV Magazine Best in Travel and Tourism Booking Technology – Poland Award.
