Fairmont has arrived in Bali, with the launch of a new beachfront resort.
The former Regent Bali has been rebranded as the Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali and relaunched a month ahead of schedule.
Spread across four hectares of landscaped gardens in Bali’s Sanur district, the 120 suite and villa resort is set on a 200-metre stretch of beach.
The property offers two restaurants, including a beachfront grill, plus a range of leisure facilities including a 50-metre infinity-edged lap pool, a spa and kids’ club. Event planners can also use The Library function room, or the hotel’s garden or beachfront for weddings.
“Fairmont is very excited to add this property to our portfolio,” said Jennifer Fox, president of FRHI International. “Couples and families who stay at this resort can look forward to an authentic Balinese experience packaged with art, culture and history,” she added.
The addition of Fairmont Sanur Beach Bali to Fairmont’s portfolio comes ahead of the opening of Fairmont Jakarta in 2015, and a second Fairmont property planned for Bali in 2016.
It also joins Fairmont’s existing Asian portfolio, which includes hotels in Singapore, the Philippines and China.
