Fairmont Copley Plaza has reopened its services to the public after temporarily allowing little access after the Boston explosions.
Services and amenities at the hotel including its OAK Long Bar + Kitchen are now open to the public and although there are some road closures the hotel is working to assist arriving guests.
“We are shocked and saddened by the explosions that occurred yesterday at the finish line of The Boston Marathon, two blocks away from the hotel. The hotel team is working diligently to assist guests with whatever they may need. We count ourselves very fortunate that all our colleagues and guests are accounted for and safe. In the wake of this tragedy, we continue to keep the victims and their families in our thoughts,” a statement from the hotel read.
