Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has opened a new residential property in Chengdu.
The Fairmont Chengdu Residences forms part of a new mixed-use development that will also include the Fairmont Chengdu hotel, which is scheduled to open in 2015.
Set across two 36-storey towers, the new property features 382 luxury apartments, including 89m² two-bedroom and 129m² three-bedroom units. Facilities will include a 24-hour concierge, a residents’ lounge, gym and a children’s club.
Owners of the residences will also have access to the facilities of the soon-to-open Fairmont Chengdu, which will include a 42nd floor restaurant, a business centre, fitness centre and spa.
Fairmont Chengdu Residences is situated within the Palm Springs International Center in the Sichuan capital’s Tianfu New Town – a planned financial services district that is expected to include considerable office space, a retail mall and convention centre.
Fairmont is expanding rapidly in China, with plans for new properties in Changsha, Hangzhou and Taiyuan, plus residences in Nanjing.
