FCm Travel Solutions has moved to Flight Centre Travel Group’s new headquarters in Singapore, as part of the group’s expansion plans.
The group has relocated to a new office on Cecil Street, in central Singapore. Spanning more than 920m2, the facility also includes the company new flagship “hyperstore”. Other staff-friendly facilities include new “creative spaces” and “collaboration zones”, plus breakout areas and an air hockey table.
“Creating a new headquarters to house both Flight Centre Travel Group and FCm is part of our wider strategic plan to foster communication within the group and support our projected growth plans,” explained Suyin Lee, managing director of Flight Centre Travel Group Singapore.
“The hyperstore will play a pivotal role in this, integrating our leisure and corporate offerings. Being in the heart of Singapore’s CBD, we are easily accessible for our customers, our people and our partners.”
FCm said the move was prompted by a “significant year-on-year growth of the Singapore business”. Last year, FCm Travel Solutions’ team grew by 50%, following both the launch of its dedicated MICE business and its expansion into the Marine and Offshore segment. And FCm said it is aiming to expand by a further 45% this year.
