First A350 rolls out of hangar
The first ever Airbus A350 WXB aircraft has emerged from the hangar in Toulouse, France.
The new ‘extra wide-body’ aircraft, named MSN001, which is structurally complete, has now moved to its next phase of testing where it will undergo a series of tests, examining its fuel tanks, fuselage and radio equipment.
Airbus has so far taken firm orders for more than 600 A350s, with Qatar Airways due to take delivery of the first one in mid-2014.
