Oceania Cruises made history this week (9 March) when its ship, Marina, pulled into Sierra Maestra cruise terminal in Havana, Cuba carrying 1,250 guests.

On board for this historic moment was Bob Binder, co-founder and CEO of Oceania Cruises, and Frank Del Rio, Cuban-born founder of Oceania Cruises and CEO of parent company Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, LTD. Once docked, Mr. Del Rio addressed international media regarding the inaugural voyage.

The 14-day sailing departed from Miami on 7 March and continued onto Mexico, Belize, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, and the Cayman Islands. Oceania Cruises has two more sailings to Cuba scheduled this March and six scheduled for this autumn.
