Plaza Premium Lounge has soft-opened its first lounge in Australia.
The facility at Brisbane Airport also becomes the first independent airport lounge in Australia. The company already operates two lounges at Sydney Airport, in partnership with SkyTeam and American Express, but the Brisbane facility will become the first Plaza Premium-branded lounge in the country.
Located in Brisbane Airport’s International Terminal, the new lounge offers seating, multiple electrical outlets for passengers to charge their electronic devices, and complimentary Wi-Fi.
A separate spa facility is currently being developed adjacent to the lounge, and is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2016.
The new lounge will be available to all passengers, no matter which airline or cabin class they are travelling in.
Plaza Premium now offers lounge services at airports in 16 countries and territories worldwide. It also operates a transit hotel at Singapore’s Changi Airport.
