Air Australia offers introductory rates
New low-cost carrier Air Australia will launch flights between Melbourne and Brisbane from 15 December, entering the highly competitive main trunk route with AU$69 (US$69) one-way fares. The airline will also offer introductory full service Business Class fares on the route, priced from AU$499 one-way. The special fares are available on the airline’s new website www.airaustralia.com.
Nova Hotel & Spa Pattaya offers opening rates
The newly-opened Nova Hotel & Spa Pattaya, Centara Boutique Collection, is offering a special introductory rate until 24 December 2011. The Westin Xian, China, has announced a special package to celebrate its opening next month. THAI slashes fares of Southern Thailand
Thai Airways International (THAI) is implementing special reduced fares to Southern Thailand in case the main road to the south from Bangkok is flooded. The national carrier’s “Southern Thailand Flood Relief” special fares offer reductions of 47-58% from regular ticket prices. This special fare is available from 11 November to 10 December. THAI will operate flights from Suvarnabhumi Airport to Thailand’s southern provinces with a total capacity of 5,039 seats per day and will add more flights and additional capacity if demand requires.
