Flybe has introduced a new purple brand as part of measures to turn around the struggling carrier.

The Exeter-based airline has a new website and renamed ticket options, now known as ‘Just Fly’, ‘Get More’ and All In’.

A new ’60:60 guarantee’ has also been launched meaning passengers on flights that are more than 60 minutes late will receive a GBP60 voucher to use on a flight as long as it is booked within 60 days.

Crew uniforms and lighting on its planes will also turn purple.

“As an airline we are dedicated to continuously looking at ways to improve as a business. Our brand refresh is a significant step forward for us as we move to become the UK’s local airline of choice with a focus on time-saving and punctual travel for regional customers. Purple is not just our new brand colour – it reflects our passion for delivering on our commitment to being the Fastest Way from A to Flybe,” said Paul Simmons, chief commercial officer at Flybe.
