flydubai lands in Hofuf

flydubai’s flight FZ897 has landed in Hofuf marking the start of the first direct link between the city and Dubai.
The inaugural flight had Hamad Obaidalla, flydubai’s chief commercial officer, alongside members of flydubai’s senior management team. The airline’s delegation was welcomed by senior officials from Al Ahsa Chamber of Commerce, General Authority of Civil Aviation and Al Ahsa Airport.
Hamad Obaidalla, chief commercial officer, flydubai said: This new operation enables us to provide direct flights to cities like Hofuf. This will not only allow our passengers from both the UAE and Saudi Arabia to travel frequently, but will open new opportunities for business and leisure travellers.”
Flights to Hofuf operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Saturdays. On Thursdays flight FZ897 departs Terminal 2 in Dubai at 1230hrs, landing in Al Ahsa Airport at 1300hrs local time. On Saturdays flight FZ897 leaves Dubai at 2110hrs, arriving into Hofuf at 2145hrs local time. On Thursdays flight FZ898 departs Al Ahsa Airport at 1400hrs, arriving into Dubai’s Terminal 2 at 1635hrs local time. On Saturdays flight FZ898 departs Hofuf at 2245hrs, arriving into Dubai at 0115hrs.
