easyJet has announced four new routes for summer 2014 in its schedule announcement.
Its new routes include Gatwick to Bucharest, Romania and Manchester to Venice. Other new additions were Liverpool to Larnaca, Cyprus and Stansted to Sofia, Bulgaria.
The low-cost airline is to operate 58,000 flights to and from the UK during the summer, which will kick off on 30 March 2014.
Cath Lynn, easyJet’s group commercial director said the route choices were in response to emerging holiday trends and feedback.
“We believe key summer sun destinations for 2014 will include the sun-soaked Greek Islands and cultural hubs like Moscow and Bucharest as well as traditional firm favourites such as Alicante and Malaga,” she said.
“Around 20% of easyJet customers are business travellers so our frequent links and low prices to cities including Berlin, Amsterdam and Belfast will be welcomed by the companies doing business in Europe,” Lynn added.
