Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts has retrofitted its own Boeing 757 to offer a private jet experience for luxury travellers.
The new jet has the brand’s name and logo on the exterior with its insides including leather flatbed seats; the cuisine expected on the ground in Four Season hotels and free WiFi so spa treatments, tee times and excursions can be arranged while in the air.
Trips on the jet will start in February 2015 with space up to 52 guests on bespoke itineraries and can be privately chartered.
“Taking our legendary service to the skies is a natural extension of what we’ve been doing in our hotels for more than 50 years,” says Susan Helstab, executive vice president marketing at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. “The Four Seasons Jet showcases the unforgettable people and experiences that make Four Seasons unique. It speaks to our pioneering spirit and the aspirations of today’s modern luxury traveller in an imaginative new way.”
Pre-arranged trips include a 24-day, nine-destination ‘Around the World’ itinerary from Los Angeles to London and a ‘Backstage with the Arts’ journey in April covering 16 days and six cities including Milan, Prague and St. Petersburg.
Another Around the World itinerary is planned for August 2015 including visits to the Serengeti, Beijing, Marrakech, Maldives, Tokyo and New York.
“The decision to offer one-of-a-kind trips aboard a custom-designed Four Seasons Jet reflects an understanding of our guests’ evolving needs and preferences,” added Helstab. “It recognises their desire to pair adventure and discovery with the luxury of a fully immersive Four Seasons experience.”
