Four Seasons has opened its first ever hotel in Shenzhen.
Located in the centre of the Pearl River Delta city, the Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen offers 266 rooms and suites, most of which measure more than 50m². In-room amenities include iPads minis, Nespresso machines, international power outlets, and large flat screen TVs with laptop connectivity.
For diners, the hotel offers several F&B outlets, including the Foo restaurant, Yi Bar & Lounge, and Zhuo Yue Xuan – a high-end Chinese restaurant with 10 private dining rooms. The hotel also offers a 15-minute room service menu.
There is also a seventh floor rooftop area called Terraces, which can cater to 80 guests and handle outdoor events. This complements the indoor conference and banqueting space, which includes the sixth floor, 360-pax Four Seasons Ballroom, the smaller 180-pax Peony Ballroom, and meeting rooms.
Leisure facilities include a 24-hour fitness centre, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, plus indoor and outdoor pools.
“Shenzhen is a fascinating city, changing by the minute,” said Arthur WC Ho, the hotel’s general manager. “International business travellers know it well, but increasingly, it is emerging as one of the country’s most exciting leisure destinations.”
The Four Seasons Shenzhen becomes the luxury hotel company’s eighth property in China, joining the existing hotels in Hong Kong, Macau, Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai (two) and Hangzhou.
