Frasers Hospitality has introduced a new serviced apartment concept to Thailand.
Modena by Fraser is a contemporary brand aimed at both leisure travellers and serviced apartments’ traditional corporate market. It is also designed to be a “socially-conscious” brand.
Set in a glass-clad building in the FYI Center, a mixed-use development on the corner of Rama IV Road, close to the Queen Sirikit MRT station, Modena by Fraser Bangkok offers 239 units, all including living areas, kitchenettes, workspaces and home entertainment systems.
“Business travellers nowadays want more than just an international level of facilities when they travel. They want to feel more connected with the environment and culture of the place that they’re visiting, living and working,” said Prema Irangani, GM of the new property.
“Modena by Fraser also appeals to socially-conscious travellers through its provincially-sourced amenities, its prominent displays of local artwork, its fresh local produce at all-day-dining restaurants, and arranged visits to local attractions.”
Facilities at the new property are designed for their convenience, including free Wi-Fi, 24-hour gym, steam and sauna facilities, a self-service launderette and meeting space. The restaurant, which sources ingredients from an on-site garden, also offers ‘grab-and-go’ meals.
The new Bangkok project becomes the only Modena by Fraser property currently operating outside China. The five other Modena by Fraser properties are located in Shanghai, Suzhou, Wuxi, Wuhan and Changsha. Frasers Hospitality’s portfolio in Thailand also includes 163-unit Fraser Suites Sukhumvit.
