The FRHI Hotels & Resorts (FRHI) recently concluded its recent Middle East global sales office road show held in Jeddah, Riyadh, Doha and Kuwait.
The events witnessed strong participation from over 170 attendees from the travel trade industry ranging from travel consultants, tour managers to corporate business clients. The road show had sales representatives from 20 hotels in the global FRHI portfolio, including Fairmont Dubai, Raffles Makkah Palace, Raffles Praslin, The Savoy – a Fairmont Managed Hotel, Raffles Istanbul, Fairmont The Palm, and Fairmont Ajman, scheduled to open in May 2015.
The road show showcased the Group’s brands and looked to enhance business partnerships as well as to announce individual hotel initiatives for the year.
“This global sales initiative in the GCC is now in its fifth year and highlights the business and partnership potential within these markets,” said Paul Ryan, executive director, travel industry sales, FRHI.
Some of the new announcements made were a new helipad facility in May 2015 at the Raffles Praslin in Seychelles. Le Royal Monceau announced its Ramadan packages for all GCC guests from 18 June– 17 July 2015, inclusive of a Quran book, prayer mat and a special Iftar menu.
Refurbishments to Fairmont Dubai and Swissôtel The Bosphorus were also disclosed during the conference. A highlight of the conference was announcement of the soon-to-debut Fairmont Ajman in May 2015. The 14-storey resort will feature 252 guestrooms and suites. The other facilities on offer are a range of food and beverage outlets, meeting facilities, spa and fitness center.
