GAS 2016 selects advisory board

The challenges facing the aviation, aerospace and defence industries across the region will be discussed and debated at the 2016 Global Aerospace Summit. The event is scheduled to be held in Abu Dhabi from 18-19 April 2016.
In light of a growing need for keen industry expertise, the advisory board for the event has been recently selected. The board members includes senior executives from Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), AAR Corp, Aeroflot Russian Airlines, Aerospace Industries Association, AirArabia, AMMROC, AngelicvM, Arab Air Carriers Organization, Arianespace, BAE Systems, Boeing, China Great Wall Industry Corporation, CANSO, COMAC, Cytec Industries, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, Etihad Airways, flydubai, GCAA, Lockheed Martin, Mahindra Group, MEBAA, Mubadala, NADI, Northrop Grumman, Piaggio Aerospace, Rockwell Collins, Rolls Royce, Sikorsky, Surrey Satellite, Tawazun, Textron Systems, Thales, Thuraya, UAE Space Agency, Virgin Galactic, XCOR Aerospace and Yahsat.
HE Saif Al Hajeri, CEO, Tawazun said: “Innovation is the key to future growth. To achieve sustainable development, we need to consider certain fundamental prerequisites such as promoting a culture of excellence and developing human capabilities. The Summit will highlight what we need to achieve in order to drive industrial innovation and boost economic development.”
Experts will share their experiences of supporting industrialisation, improving supply chain standards and creating value-added jobs for skilled individuals.
