Geneva Tourism unveils summer offer for second year of ‘Geneva, The Resort City’ campaign
Following the success of last year’s ‘Geneva, The Resort City’ concept, Geneva Tourism has once again unveiled a special summer offer to cement the city’s position as a true urban leisure destination. This summer, taking inspiration from locals, Geneva has created a unique and exclusive experience for visitors to enjoy.
From 1 July to 31 August, every tourist visiting Geneva will receive a complimentary Geneva Resort Pass, which entitles them to discounted or free access to over 100 activities, together with a Geneva Transport Card, allowing unlimited access to the entire city.
’Geneva, The Resort City’ encourages visitors to enjoy the entire city of Geneva, captured by six amateur photographers, as a summer resort. Your swimming pool: wild swimming in Lake Geneva and its inimitable Jet d’Eau fountain. Your garden: explore 1,400 hectares of vineyards, the longest wine tour, by foot or by e-bike. Your playground: a lake and two rivers where you can raft or canoe. Your Terrace: the Old Town and its ‘dolce vita’. Your restaurant: the Swiss capital of gastronomy, with more than 100 different cuisines!
As part of the campaign a competition involving user-generated content mentioning #VisitGeneva and #GenevaResortCity will be held, with the chance to win a VIP stay for two in 2023, evoking Geneva’s slogan “VISIT. MEET. REPEAT.”, aimed at highlighting Geneva as an unmissable destination. Two winners will be chosen by the Instagram Genève Tourisme community, the first at the end of July and the second at the end of August.
