Giles Hawke rumoured to be joining MSC

Giles Hawke, the outgoing Carnival UK sales & customer services director is rumoured to be in talks with MSC to take over its UK office.
The potential move comes after MSC confirmed that current managing director Giulio Libutti has left the UK division by “mutual agreement”.
MSC remained quiet over speculation that Hawke would replace Libutti who has not officially left the company as it stands. He has raised the possibility that he will stay within MSC, taking a position outside the UK.
Hawke, who had been rumoured to be in line for a Viking Oceans position, would be a surprise appointment to many after he spearheaded Complete Cruise Solution’s 5% commission reduction.
