Ginger, part of the Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), has strengthened its presence in Goa, India with the opening of a new hotel in Madgaon.

Deepika Rao, managing director and chief executive officer of Ginger said: “Ginger Madgaon is our third lean-luxe hotel in Goa. With the addition of this hotel, Ginger establishes its presence in the largest commercial hub of Goa.”

Situated in the commercial and cultural capital of Goa, surrounded by some of the best beaches and major corporate hubs, the hotel has 47 rooms, an all-day diner, a meeting room and fitness centre. The hotel presents a co-existence of contrasts through dynamic spaces, seamlessly blending the lines of work and play, bringing about a fusion of global and local sensibilities. The design creates experiences that are vibrant, quirky, intuitive and smart. The lean-luxe experience facilitates the ‘never stop’ lifestyle of travellers.

Apart from the well-known Madgaon market, scenic landmarks such as the Holy Spirit Church, Benaulim and Colva beaches are some of the must-visits in this beautiful city. In addition to this, Madgoan houses the largest sports stadium in Goa, the Nehru Stadium that hosts major sporting events. With the opening of this hotel, IHCL will have 11 hotels across its brands in Goa.
