Global events strengthen ADNEC growth for Q1 of 2012

ADNEC (Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre) welcomed 64 events during the first quarter of the year with exhibitions, conferences, meetings and weddings at the venue, attracting more than 125,000 visitors. The highlight were the World Future Energy Summit, World Ophthalmology Congress and the Tawdheef together accounted for over 64,000 visitors.

Humaid Al Dhaheri, ADNEC’s chief sales & marketing officer, commented: “The different types of events taking place at ADNEC are in line with the Abu Dhabi 2030 Vision which aims to focus on sectors such as energy, defence, and tourism.”

Humaid Al Dhaheri also noted that the Al Ain Convention Centre is playing a great role in activating the events calendar in Al Ain.
