Tourism professionals and operators involved in the golf sector are gathering in Italy for the KPMG Golf Business Forum on Monday.

The conference’s ninth edition will take place at the Renaissance Il Ciocco Tuscany Resort & Spa, Barga across three days including talks from Sir Nick Faldo, Sir Rocco Forte and the findings of the Golf 2020 Vision report.

Andrea Sartori, head of KPMG’s golf advisory practice EMA believes the event is its most informed and forward-looking to date.

“At a time when the wider economic situation remains challenging and golf participation is under pressure, it will be the businesses that innovate and take advantage of evolving demand-side factors, driven by global social trends, that will prove successful,” he added.
