Grandeur of the Seas has entered a five-week long dry-dock in Cadiz, Spain, to receive £30 million worth of major revitalisation. The ship is the third of six Vision-class ships to undergo extensive upgrades, following the Rhapsody of the Seas and Splendour of the Seas.
The bow-to-stern revitalisation of the ship includes a host of new dining venues, technological upgrades and new entertainment offerings, as well as refresh of furnishing, carpets, upholstery and staterooms.
Some of the new dining venues include Giovanni’s Table, Izumi Asian Cuisine, Park Café and Chops Grill, the line’s signature steakhouse offering premium cuts. The ship will also have a Chef’s Table, an exclusive and intimate dining event co-hosted by the executive chef and Sommelier. All of the above restaurants attract a supplement ranging from $3 to $95 per person depending on the dining venue selected.
In addition, the ship will receive a new Diamond Lounge for Crown & Anchor Society; a Concierge Lounge for suite guests as well as a transformed Viking Crown Lounge that will feature a new design.
