Grenada Board of Tourism has announced it will not exhibit at World Travel Market this year to focus on conversion rates with its current operators and agent partners.
The tourism board said it is always looking for new operators and will return to the trade show “in the near future”.
“Our aim is always to increase the number of visitors to Grenada and in the coming months our focus will be to further strengthen the relationships that exist within the travel industry and to support our hoteliers in a competitive market,” said Sharon Bernstein, general manager UK & Ireland at Grenada Board of Tourism.
The announcement comes after several other tourism boards hosted private events in the past month to build relationships with the trade instead of plugging money into the show.
