GTA and TCA Abu Dhabi boost agent benefits this summer

GTA, Kuoni’s global travel distribution arm, has teamed up with Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi) to launch an exclusive new offer for members of the g shop, its travel agent loyalty programme.

The ‘Abu Dhabi Summer Season’ campaign has been developed by TCA Abu Dhabi to encourage domestic, regional GCC and international visitors to spend their summer in Abu Dhabi, with a spectacular line-up of events, attractions and special packages ready to thrill visitors.

And now, GTA’s travel partners can also benefit from this summertime extravaganza by earning triple g shop points on all hotel and attraction bookings in the UAE’s capital city from now until the end of October.

Abu Dhabi is home to a plethora of visitor attractions, from the breath-taking Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque – the world’s second highest rated landmark on TripAdvisor – to the adrenaline-fuelled action of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi.

“This is an excellent opportunity for us to provide even greater benefits to our travel trade partners across the GCC region, and to help Abu Dhabi drive higher tourism arrivals and revenues this summer,” said Rami Mashini, GTA’s vice president of sales & marketing for the Middle East, Africa, Turkey & India.

The triple g shop points offer is valid for all bookings made at hotels and attractions in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the UAE’s Western Region from now until 31 October 2016. It is targeted at all GCC countries, including the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

TCA Abu Dhabi has developed an impressive calendar of events to excite visitors this summer. ‘Bollywood in the City’ will attract Indian cinematic royalty to Yas Island in August, and ‘Peter Pan: The Never-Ending Story’ will be staged at the Al Raha Beach Theatre in late August and early September. Comedy fans can also enjoy the ‘Arabic Comedy Festival’ in mid-September.

Triple g shop point offers will also be available on a series of tours and packages developed by TCA Abu Dhabi, including a combined Abu Dhabi city tour and desert safari, magical dinner cruises on a traditional dhow, thrilling speedboat rides along the Abu Dhabi coastline, and dual one-day passes for Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Yas Waterworld.

GTA’s strategic collaboration with TCA Abu Dhabi runs from now until 31 October 2016.
