9 Air, the new low-cost carrier based at Guangzhou‘s Baiyun International Airport, will continue to expand its domestic network this month, with the launch of a new south-north route.
Commencing on 30 April 2015, the airline will fly from Guangzhou to Changchun, the capital of northeast China’s Jilin province, with a stop in Nanjing, the capital of eastern China’s Jiangsu province, in both directions.
The route will be operated using 190-seat Boeing 737 aircraft, and 9 Air will offer passengers promotional fares of CNY9 (US$1.45).
9 Air, which is a subsidiary of Shanghai-based Juneyao Air, already operates daily flights to Harbin, another city in northeast China, from Guangzhou and Haikou, via Wenzhou and Nanjing respectively.
