Gulf Air recently hosted representatives from key Russian-based MICE travel agencies on a four day visit showcasing the airline and some of Bahrain’s notable tourist attractions.
In a meeting with Gulf Air acting chief executive officer Maher Salman AlMusallam and Gulf Air acting chief commercial officer Ahmed Janahi discussed the importance of travel agents’ role and function and their critical partnership with Gulf Air to promote Bahrain and raise awareness of all that the Kingdom and its national carrier have to offer Russian visitors. In turn, the representatives voiced their positive feedback on the Kingdom’s many tourism and business capabilities and its broad appeal to various types of visitors.
The airline’s direct Moscow link has seen steady growth. In support of this, the airline has entered into a Special Prorate Agreement (SPA) with Russian carrier S7 Airlines. Gulf Air’s direct four weekly flights to Moscow Domodedovo Airport operate on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
