Hawaiian flies daily to Seoul
Hawaiian Airlines has boosted the frequency of its Honolulu-Seoul route to daily.
The airline has been operating four weekly flights to Seoul’s Incheon International Airport since January 2011, but this week added an extra three weekly services to the route, bringing the total frequency to daily.
“Demand for our Korea service grew steadily over its first year as we expected, and we couldn’t be more pleased about expanding to daily service and the increasing benefits this will bring to Hawaii’s visitor industry,” said Hawaiian’s Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer, Peter Ingram.
The new service will see flight HA459 depart Honolulu International Airport daily at 1200, and arrive at Seoul’s Incheon airport at 1635 the following day. The return flight, HA460 departs Seoul daily at 2200, and arrives back in Honolulu at 1205 the same day. All flights will be served using Hawaiian’s 264-seat twin-aisle Boeing 767-300ER aircraft, although this will be upgraded to a 294-seat Airbus A330-200 at a later date.
