Hertz Rent A Car has recently appointed dnata as its exclusive outbound general sales agent (GSA) in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

The agreement is a three year strategic partnership which adds two more GCC countries to dnata’s existing representation of Hertz. The partnership between Hertz and dnata will further strengthen the Hertz outbound car rentals from Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar and Oman.

Outbound Hertz car rentals from Saudi Arabia grew 24.8% per cent year-on-year from January to December 2014 compared to 2013, with the US, France, Germany, UAE, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, UK, Qatar and South Africa on the top-ten list of travel destinations for Hertz KSA outbound customers.

Michel Taride, group president, Hertz International said: “We are happy to expand on this in order to support our long-term outbound growth strategy from the region over the next five years, focusing on key destinations such as the USA and Europe.”

Hertz offers a range of vehicles, including the Hertz Dream Collection in the USA and Europe, with models like Aston Martin V8 Vantage, Bentley Continental GT, Lamborghini Gallardo, or Jaguar F-TYPE, amongst many others.
