growing exhibitions and conferences market in the city.

The exhibition centre is expecting a 10% growth for 2014-15 in the use of the exhibition and meetings facilities. Sambit Mund, head for trade fairs division at HITEX, told Travel Daily India that this year the use for its own events and of others would go up to 75%, up from last year’s 65% per of last year. Spread over 53 acres, the centre offers 10,500m2 of exhibition space.

“No other city can match the airport, hotels, entertainment and other facilities of Hyderabad. the stable political situation after the elections would further boost the MICE market prospects of the IT city,” Mund added.
