HK Express connects Pacific islands

Low-cost carrier HK Express has unveiled plans to launch flights to two Pacific islands, Guam and Saipan.
Scheduled to commence in December 2016 and January 2017 respectively, the new routes from Hong Kong to Guam and Saipan will offer new holiday options for residents of Hong Kong.
And travellers holding Hong Kong passports will be able to visit both territories without needing a visa, through the Guam-CNMI visa waiver programme.

It’s nothing but blue skies ahead for HK Express — we have a few more surprises in store this autumn.”
Flights to Guam will get underway on 15 December 2016, operating four times a week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays). The Saipan route will then follow on 17 January 2017, with three weekly flights every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. HK Express will serve both routes using its fleet of all-economy class Airbus A320 aircraft.
Hong Kong Airlines launched the first Hong Kong-Saipan route earlier this year, while United Airlines already connects Hong Kong with Guam.
