Laurent A Voivenel, CEO of HMH – Hospitality Management Holdings recently met with Jackson Chang, president of Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute (IPIM) to explore business opportunities. The delegation from IPIM is on a three-day visit to the UAE and is accompanied by senior officials including Echo Chan Keng Hong, executive director, IPIM and Thomas Ng Iok Fai, director of external co-operation department, IPIM.

Voivenel said: “A lot of investors are now focused on developing the mid-market hotel segment in the UAE as well as rest of the GCC given the potential of budget hotels and demand that exists in the absence of adequate supply. With ECOS Hotels, we have got the perfect B & B budget brand and therefore, we are eager to explore and evaluate any new opportunities with Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute.”
