InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has continued the expansion of its Holiday Inn Express brand in Thailand, with the launch of a new property in central Bangkok.
The Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sukhumvit 11 is a 161-room budget hotel located on Sukhumvit Soi 11, one of the Thai capital’s most popular entertainment streets.
It offers a choice of queen or twin rooms, all of which come equipped with free Wi-Fi, power showers and a choice of pillows. Breakfast is also free for all guests.
“Travellers… want the guarantee of a fuss-free stay at a reasonable rate. The Holiday Inn Express brand caters to this demand by providing guests with a refreshing and uncomplicated experience in convenient locations around the world. We expect a busy opening period for Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sukhumvit 11, our third in Thailand’s capital,” said IHG’s Alan Watts, chief operating officer for Asia, Middle East & Africa.
As well as becoming the third Holiday Inn Express in Bangkok, it is the brand’s fourth opening in Thailand, following its debut in the country in 2012. It also becomes the 11th Holiday Inn Express in Southeast Asia.
