Following on from the lead set by P&O Cruises and Cunard, Holland America Line launched its own Early Advantage programme. The programme is introduced to encourage guests to book early for the2013 cruise season and take advantage of lower fares, free upgrades and more flexible deposit terms.

Holland America Line guests booking 2013 cruises will now pay a lower 15% deposit rather than the previously fixed amount. Early bookers can also make changes to their cruise booking at no charge up until 90 days prior to sailing or the final payment whichever is first.

Holland America is enjoying a successful summer season in 2012 mainly on the back of a late booking pattern, according to Lynn Narraway, UK’s managing director for Holland America. “At this time, we want to assure guests of the advantages of booking early – and give agents the opportunity to benefit by promoting these early booking offers to their clients,” she added.
