Horus Development & Consulting announces key partnership with Discova
Horus Development & Consulting will enter a key partnership with Discova, the world’s leading Destination Management Company (DMC). Horus Development & Consulting will be leading the B2B promotion of Discova in the markets of Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand, focusing on education, training, and events.
In 2018, Buffalo Tours and Olympus Tours joined the Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) family and Discova was formed from their union. Discova has been priding itself in offering tailor-made travel experiences for travel trade partners and other business-to-business travel purchasers.
Horus Development & Consulting will add value to Discova’s key competencies by capitalising on our in-depth knowledge of the Southeast Asian markets, creating targeted sales and training programmes, thereby increasing market knowledge of Discova in the region. Both partners also endeavour to promote greater commitment to sustainable and responsible travel.
Benoit Badufle, Managing Director of Horus Development & Consulting, is proud of this collaboration: “The plea for a more sustainable tourism industry has become greater than ever, and it is a core value of our company to leave a positive impact in travel. Likewise, Discova focuses on sustainable and community development. With 95% of its employees based locally, it drives direct benefits into the local communities and, retrospectively, benefits Discova with unrivalled grassroots knowledge and experience. We are honoured to join Discova in driving positive change and rethinking growth in the travel industry.”
Discova sales & marketing director Andrew Turner shares Badufle’s positive outlook: “We regard Asia as a key source market opportunity with increasing outbound regional travel demand. Growth in these markets is a key element in both our short- and long-term goals. This exciting partnership with Horus will enable us to capitalize on their expansive knowledge & experience and we look forward to extending our sustainably focused services to Southeast Asian markets.”
