Hotelbeds recently announced success in driving room night growth into the Middle East.
Dubai as a whole registered a three percent decrease in occupancy year-on-year. The bed bank has continued to outstrip market by driving a 41% growth compared to the same period last year.
These results have also been reflected across UAE as a region, where the bed bank has achieved a 44% room night growth year-on-year, significantly outperforming the industry once again.
This has been achieved through focus on initiatives designed to enhance its position in the Middle East, and more specifically in Dubai. The strategy has been built around the need to deliver best rates and availability backed by strong investment into tech and innovation.
One example of innovation that is driving growth has been the launch of APItude. Hotelbeds’ API connectivity suite. Apitude is an advanced hotel distribution API on the market and forms forms part of Hotelbeds’ larger strategy to simplify all touch points of service delivery.
Javier Arévalo, product director Hotelbeds said: “Hotelbeds has managed to significantly increase its leading position in the UAE, where the bed bank has recorded a 44% year-on-year growth in room nights. We are confident that our solid business model and focused local teams that work closely with our partners together with ongoing investment in technology will ensure a strong pipeline of growth into this top region for many years to come.”
